Polygonal Chameleon

A recreation of a chameleon done solely with polygons. The legs and head were done in smaller shapes to separate them from the body, shading was used to add depth to the image. All shapes were drawn with the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator. I started by placing a picture of a chameleon on an 8.5x11'' sheet. Then I began drawing shapes on the head, first outlining the head in shapes then working my way in. This method was used for every body part. The gradients were added on the eye and head as well as parts of the arms to add depth to the image. This was done by adding a gradient to each shape that was necessary. The tongue and fly were not in the original image but I added them to add to the aesthetic of the image.
